| Franklin Shelter Concert |
No Shelter for Fenty ConcertFriends of Friends, a DC-based Jazz/Hip Hop/Funk group put on a show of solidarity in front of Franklin Shelter as part of our Dayz of Shame.

Forty+ people came and rallied on Thursday October 23 at Franklin Park (13th and K Streets NW) to listen to Friends of Friends jamout for justice. Led by the vocal & rythmic outpouring of concern from the stage, the participants wanted to see the shelter reopened in time for winter.
Over 100 signatures were gathered, more than 300 flyers passed out, and energy for humanity was vibrating all around the now closed Franklin Shelter.
Please go to this website's home page to contact your Councilmember and request they reopen Franklin Shelter immediately.
